This year was pretty solid for flicks -- especially the top dozen or so on my list, but there was no single movie that stood out for me like in recent years. There may be no Lebron James, but the starters are really good role players and the bench is very deep. It's remarkable that I can honestly recommend the top fifty or so on my list. If you never see the bottom ten, you're missing nothing. As per usual, you'll see films that have appeared on previous lists. I likely saw those at some festival but it was only this year distributed for release in theaters.
