This was definitely an interesting year for movies. There were only a few excellent films but a whole lot of really good ones. My top 10 are movies I will watch multiple times in my life, the top 40 or so are highly recommended to all my friends, beyond that requires specific tastes. The bottom 10 should be avoided.

When it got down to that area most were pretty equally crappy.
I really dug happy-go-lucky. I hadn't seen a movie like it before. I noticed you had Milk kind of low. I think it would be top 10 for me. Awesome list! Man on wire rocked for sure.
Your list is even worse than Eric's ... Last time that I paid attention to your advice (movies) I saw "Brokeback Mountain"... I still have nightmares... people in Texas are weird! ... I have to say that Kelly is very nice to write such good reviews in both of your blogs (eric and mike)... She really wants to be a vikinga!
