Mike, where the heck do you see all these movies I've never heard of?! Fantastic fest??
I'm glad to see Never Let Me Go so high on both your lists. It was one of my faves.
I saw a ton at Festivals this year. Fantastic Fest was definitely one of those festivals. Of the top 15 films, "Bedevilled" and "Last Circus" I saw at Fantastic Fest and "The Loved Ones" I watched at SXSW.
"Bedevilled" is a really great film about domestic violence in Korea. "Last Circus" is a spanish movie that has a scene with a clown in a dress fighting in a revolution wearing a dress and brandishing a machete.
"The Loved Ones" is an Australian horror/comedy. It was a big hit at one of my movie nights.
"Never Let Me Go" really is fantastic and I wish more people would watch it.
